RULES AND REGULATIONS
Registration of teams
Each team is to appoint a captain who will be responsible for liaison with the tournament committee.
A team is allowed to register a maximum of 10 players [7 players and 3 substitutes] and a minimum of 7 players.
Attire/Safety on Court
Players who are pregnant will not be allowed to play in the competition.
Players are required to have their nails all cut short.
Accessories such as jewelleries and hair clips will not be allowed on court to ensure the safety of the other players.
All players are to wear running shoes/ court shoes on court and no other forms of footwear such as slippers/boots etc.
All players are to be dressed appropriately for tournaments.
Duration of Match
For primarily rounds, each match shall be played over 2 halves of 7 minutes, with 1 minute interval.
For Finals, each match shall be played over 2 halves of 10 minutes with 2 minutes interval.
General Rules
Teams will play according to the official netball rules.
Playing positions must be clearly indicated at the front and the back of the players.
Each team will be required to wear at least one set of bibs.
In all group games, league points will be awarded as follow:
WIN – 2 POINTS; DRAW – 1 POINT; LOSS – 0 POINT
The top 2 teams will advance to the finals.
In the event of a tie in league points during the group stage, the final group standings will be decided as follows:
a) Goal Difference
b) Goal For divides by Goal Against
for all matches.
In the event of a tie during the finals, a 3 minutes extra time (without interval) will be played. If tie persists after the 3 minutes extra time, we shall enter the sudden-death extra time. The first team that leads by 2 points will be declared the winner.
Substitutions – Each team is allowed unlimited substitutions during the following circumstances:
a) At any interval;
b) Injury Stoppage or illness.
